Flowers for a daughter are painful and cherished at the same time

Not that we need a reminder that we could all be better fathers but we could all work harder at being like Bailey Sellers’ dad.

She gets flowers from him on her birthday, the Washington Post says.

That’s not unusual for a lot of fathers but this fact is: He’s been dead for four years.

And now the other side of the human coin: Sellers reports that after her tweet raced around the Internet, several people set up accounts on donation websites soliciting money in memory of her father. They were all scams.
