Late last Friday night, Tiga Stevenson finished ringing her bell at a Salvation Army kettle at a Coborn’s in St. Cloud. She set a Minnesota bell-ringing record of 36 hours and 1 minute, the Salvation Army says. It was part of a national challenge, which ended in a three-way tie for 60 hours of ringing.
WJON Radio in St. Cloud filmed this interview with Ms. Stevenson:
Ms. Stevenson hasn’t been able to find work since moving from Chicago and into a shelter. But she reportedly was told by Coborn’s to fill out an application after she got some sleep.
