Bob CollinsThe world is full of people who don’t want to be involved, but the Twin Cities has two news stories today about people who just get a little tired of the jerks who try to rob people.
In Minneapolis, KARE 11 reports, a restaurant manager chased down a man who had just punched an 8-year-old in the face and stolen his iPad.
Mohammad Armeli said, “I stopped him right here and said ‘Hey, where are you going? He said ‘I didn’t do anything. I didn’t’ do anything,'” which is, of course, the first thing criminals say after they did something.

Over in Saint Paul, Jesse Moore, 21, has had it, too. When a man with a knife tried to rob a CVS store, he jumped up on the counter and kicked the robber in the face, WCCO reports.
White While police say they do not encourage people to fight back when getting robbed, the station said, Moore says he would kick the robber again to protect the people at the store. Which is what heroes say after they’ve just been a hero.
