Noisey makes a stop in the Twin Cities

Noisey, the digital music channel, has made a stop in Minneapolis for the third installment (after Seattle and Denver) of its Made in America series.

And although we did spend five minutes contemplating loitering outside Paisley Park like a stalker, there’s so much more to the area than “purfiying yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.” (Although we do recommend doing so if you have the time.)

The twin cities have spawned some legendary artists whose back catalogue and current output continue to exert influence to this day. It’s an area that, despite winter weather that has been known to sink to -60 degrees, is still nurturing to new artists.

Even if you’re not much of a local music sort, there’s a few neat shots of area locales in the video that was released this afternoon.
