Of all the stories that race past — and occasionally into — our ears, few have touched people like the friendship story of Erling Kindem, 89, and his 3-year-old neighbor Emmett Rychner of Farmington, first relayed a few weeks ago by KARE 11’s Boyd Huppert.
Sad times were still ahead. Erling was going into assisted living. And Emmett and his family were moving to Northfield.
Now there’s an update, according to ABC News. Today is the day the two part ways.
