Confirming what most drivers already know, Allstate’s annual survey reveals that St. Paul isn’t a particularly safe city to drive in.
The city finished 103rd — just ahead of Detroit — on the list of safest cities.
Minneapolis, meanwhile, finished 90th overall, a drop from 66th last year, 57th in 2012 and 2011.
For the fourth year in the survey’s 10-year existence, Fort Collins, Colorado, is the safest city in which to drive. There, drivers can expect to be in a collision once every 14 years.
The only upper Midwest town to finish in the top 10 was Madison, Wisconsin (9th).
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, finished 26th.
