After 8 years, couple says ‘I love you’

Valentine’s Day can be tough on couples who’ve never said “I love you” to each other.

It’s a serious issue, which is why a This American Life projects waded into it this week for one couple who are going on eight years.

Brooklyn filmmaker Bianca Giaever is the brains behind the Videos 4 U project.

“Making this video felt like a fight to tone down the hipsterness,” she tells Flavorwire. “Maybe being in Brooklyn it felt like the video naturally wanted to be like that.”
