No sight is no problem for sled dog

Look at this face. How can this not be your favorite in the Iditarod?

Look closely and you can probably tell Laura the dog is blind. The other eye is the same way.

“I think a lot of these dogs could run with their eyes closed and just feel where they’re going,” owner Kelly Maixner, a Bismarck, North Dakota native, tells KTUU.

He and his team are in 51st place in the 1,000-mile Alaska race as of this afternoon.
