Pregnant MN TV meteorologist fights baby bump bullies

When it comes to TV news personalities, the viewers often have a difficult time understanding their boundaries.

You may recall that in La Crosse, Wis., three years ago, a TV anchor called out a viewer who complained about her weight. As is the nature of bullies, he declined the invitation to appear on camera to talk with her about his expertise.

Now in Rochester, Minn., a TV meteorologist is fighting a similar attack.

On her Facebook page, Cindy Morgan writes today that she’s fielding nasty comments because she dares to do her job while pregnant.

David Springer, the station’s news director, called out the viewers on Facebook today and urged his audience to “embrace the bump.”
