Just as sure as spring follows winter, someone is going to ignore “thin ice” signs on Lake Minnetonka and insist the law of physics can be violated.
It happened in Wayzata Bay around 11 a.m., according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
“Today’s incident marks the first vehicle through the ice in Hennepin County this winter,” Sheriff Rich Stanek said in a press release, taking the SUV-half-full view of things. “Let’s make sure it’s the last.”
