We know that because Oregon Gov. Kate Brown tweeted a letter of apology she received from him yesterday.
“I think we can forgive Samuel, don’t you think, Oregonians?” the governor tweeted.
The young man included the pen and $1 to cover the cost of the hazelnut.
The governor sent a pen back to the kid.
