Brad Nelson, who posted this video on YouTube, was only about a mile south of the Faribault airport Thursday evening in southern Minnesota when a likely tornado came through.
From the sound of the commentary, he knows tornadoes.
Over at the airport, things are bleak. An airplane hangar is no match for a tornado; they’re just a few steel beams and a bunch of tin.

About 60 aircraft are based at the airport. The main business at the airport — the fixed based operator — was wiped out.
