A Grand Forks is begging for a kidney. It’s a family tradition.
Bonnie Haman is the thirteenth person in her family to need a kidney transplant, WDAZ says.
She has scrawled her plea all over her car. It includes her blood type and her phone number.
“I’d like to get it out there a little bit and see if anyone would call and where I work it’s in the parking lot there,” Haman said.
She works as a cashier at the local Walmart and figures the parking lot will be good for visibility.
So far she’s gotten more than a dozen phone calls. But no kidney.
“Just hoping that someone will go, “Oh I’d like to try to help her out,” Haman said.
