Than TibbettsYesterday’s news that eight people would be charged in connection with the disappearance of young Somali men from the Twin Cities put the long-running story back in the national spotlight.
Authorities suspect the young men are being recruited to fight with al-Shabaab, an Islamic militia — and terrorist organization, according to the U.S. State Department.
