U.S. Olympic fashion: patchy and spendy?

The U.S. Olympic committee today revealed the clothing that U.S. athletes will wear at the opening ceremonies in Sochi in 15 days.

Designed by Ralph Lauren, and made in the United States, the outfits are certainly “interesting,” in a Minnesota way.

That’s Minnesota Wild star Zach Parise doing the modeling and trying not to look in a mirror.

You can buy that cardigan online. It’s only $598. The hat will run you $98.

It’ll be a good look at the bus stop for the kids next week.

It could be worse, you could be the Norwegian curling team.
