The Fargo Forum reports the woman allegedly tried to get her room for free after claiming she found a syringe in the bed.
What was the tip-off — aside from the fact the cleaning protocol made it extremely unlikely the syringe was left behind — that this was a scam?
“All she wanted was a free night,” the hotel manager said, noting she didn’t express any concern for her safety.
