Twitter knows nonsense.
Brian Williams, the NBC anchor, is navigating some mighty choppy waters, following his acknowledgement yesterday that the story he’s been telling since 2003 is untrue.
Last night he tried to unwind himself from the problem he created, but only made it worse.
His assertion that he simply got confused, rather than acknowledging he embellished the story, isn’t flying with Twitter historians today.
