It’s probably coincidence, though, that Kipp Teague, an information technology specialist in Virgina, has done more in the last week to remind us of a time when the moon was special, than any human has since a small group of men traveled there.
On his own, Teague has obtained and processed the original photos taken by Apollo astronauts and he recently uploaded them to Flickr
NASA doesn’t have the funding to process and archive the images, so Teague did it.
What can you do with the raw images? Graham Dalley used them to make this composite image, which he posted on Teague’s Facebook page.
As of this afternoon, more than 10,000 photos have been added to the Flickr page.
