On an otherwise calm day in the world of news, we have learned that dressing up as a tree can be as suspicious as being a clown.
It was proven this day in Portland, Maine.
First, we note the difficulty the police have in patting down a tree.

It turns out, however, there is no law against dressing up as a tree.

But the tree did not pay attention to officers and went back into the road, where he was arrested…

… and handcuffed.
The tree had no comment.
