At the @UWBadgers game and there is a man with a mask of President Obama and a noose. This is racism, why was this allowed into the stadium? pic.twitter.com/zKEqhdDYny

Either Lee Johnson is lying about his decision to wear an Obama costume with a noose around its neck or he’s clueless about the history of racism in America.
Johnson is one of the muttonheads at the University of Wisconsin football game against Nebraska who paraded around Camp Randall Stadium with his friends, prompting an outcry from people who saw the obvious racist imagery involving a black man with a noose.
“I accept FULL responsibility for my actions during the October 29th football game at Camp Randall Stadium. I apologize for the poor judgment of my pre-election/political Halloween costume during the football game. There was no racial intent,” Johnson in an email pulished today by the Wisconsin State Journal.
The university has yanked the season tickets from the man who owns the tickets used by the costume-wearer.
