In Wheaton, Ill., a truck with 57 dogs, all of them saved from a kill shelter, rolled into a parking lot. Fifty-seven new dog families waited outside to meet their new family member.
Every time a dog was brought out of the truck, the crowd’s reaction was the same.
Cats can’t do that.
“We do this for the dogs but I do believe we’re changing a lot of people’s lives too,” the leader of TracysDogs, the rescue organization said.
All of the dogs were rescued from the south and brought north. That’s usually the direction dog rescue routes take.
