Many women in Minneapolis have little chance of having the luxury of walking down the street without being accosted in some fashion by a man.
So “Lindsey,” who started Cards Against Harassment,” expanded the campaign by drawing messages on Hennepin Avenue on Wednesday night. The message to men wasn’t complicated: don’t do that; respect women.
A series of chalk messages carried theme of a nationwide campaign to end street harassment.
Goood morning! If you find yourself on Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis, use #EndSH and share thoughts on the chalkwalk I worked on overnight. ❤ pic.twitter.com/YUELKWxqFq

.@MinneapolisDID He said, "But when a man sees something beautiful…Can't I appreciate beauty?" I did not convince him. He thinks it's his natural right.
