The seeds of anarchy are being sowed in Hudson, Wis.
The city has a law: Buildings must be painted in subtle hues of brown, gray or blue. That is: they must be boring.
Pink? No, that’s not going to fly, KARE reports.
“I think it’s a little bit of discrimination singling me out like that,” Brooke Fleetwood, who painted her business pink about two months ago, according to KARE.
“Pink,” she says, “is who I am.”
The Hudson city administrator issued a statement to KARE saying the city will consider the owner’s appeal of its order of violation but will not comment further to protect the integrity of the process.
