Oh, it’s on now between Donald Trump and NPR.
It started this morning — around 5:30, to be precise — when Donald Trump tweeted:
From day one I said that I was going to build a great wall on the SOUTHERN BORDER, and much more. Stop illegal immigration. Watch Wednesday!

Five-thirty is prime time for Steve Inskeep, the host of NPR’s Morning Edition, who has been trying, without success, to score an interview with the would-be president.
We've driven the whole border, including existing walls. We'll talk when you do an @npr interview, @realDonaldTrump. https://t.co/qhoVCQ4aXg

No other news organization in the U.S. has done more reporting on “the wall” that has been the cornerstone of Trump’s campaign.
Trump has thusfar refused to sit for an interview with anyone from NPR.
