No humans left on island hit by Hurricane Irma

There’s something you won’t see in this drone video of the island of Barbuda, released by GlobalMedic overnight.
Humans.

The island’s 1,800 residents are all gone; they fled to Antigua after the island nation was hit by Hurricane Irma two weeks ago.

“The damage is complete,” the island nation’s ambassador to the U.S., Ronald Sanders, told PRI’s The Takeaway. “For the first time in 300 years, there’s not a single living person on the island of Barbuda — a civilization that has existed on that island for over 300 years has now been extinguished.”
