Paul TostoThe Byron Bears from southeastern Minnesota made it to state this year. It’s the first time ever the girls basketball team has gone this far.
They have a tall order Wednesday night against top-ranked Sauk Centre.
None of the players or coaches were thinking about that Tuesday, though, when they hopped on the bus for the Twin Cities, looked out the window and felt the town’s embrace.
